East Sussex County Council has awarded Jackson Civil Engineering a freelance to switch a Victoria bridge.
Exceat Bridge carries the A259 around the River Cuckmere, inside the Seven Sisters Nation Park, which is itself within the South Downs Nationwide Park.
East Sussex County Council considers the A259 to be the most important path for financial connectivity, linking communities from the east of the County alongside the coastal hall from Eastbourne to Brighton.
Exceat bridge used to be at the start constructed round 1870 for horses and carts. It used to be widely repaired within the Nineteen Seventies however is now attaining the top of its existence.
