Douglas Anderson and his more youthful brother Iain were working the corporate as joint managing administrators for 38 years, since 1988, after they have been slightly of their thirties.
Over time they constructed the industry into one of the vital UK’s largest plant rent firms, turning over £326m remaining 12 months.
Gordon Anderson Plant used to be based in 1969 through their father, Gordon Anderson.
Douglas joined the circle of relatives industry in 1978 after 3 years operating at Caterpillar. Iain, 3 years more youthful, joined in 1984. Douglas and Iain inherited the industry when their father died in 1996.
