Nuclear Waste Products and services (NWS) is looking on Aecom for design and engineering services and products to improve entrance finish programme supply at its low point waste repository web site close to Drigg in Cumbria.

Aecom has been appointed as framework spouse for NWS’ new built-in design and engineering framework (IDEF) underneath a four-year time period.

Established in 2022, NWS brings in combination the experience of LLW Repository Ltd, Radioactive Waste Control Ltd, and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority’s Built-in Waste Control Programme (IWMP). It is a part of the NDA workforce, which has a collective long-term challenge to scrub up nuclear decommissioning websites safely, securely, and cost-effectively.
