John Deere uncovers another era of SmartGrade offering improved flexibility, simple to use, and exceptional execution available now on small dozer models, Making more alternatives for clients, both Leica & Topcon solutions are now shifting to SmartGrade’s new generation.

The next generation of SmartGrade empowers clients to quickly complete grading tasks and improves modern operators to hit target grade more effectively and proficiently. Operators can get work done sooner, as they do not require day-by-day setup or calibration at the start-up of the heavy dozer. When any genuine issue emerges, Administrators and dealers can effortlessly fix their machines with Remote Data Transfer and Remote Display Access integration through the John Deere Operations Center™.
The dual-screen capabilities on the new G5 10-in. The Touchscreen display empowers the operator to see work location plans and the selected grade management option at the same time, helping enhance customer adaptability. In expansion, John Deere Dozer calibrations can be done effectively through the screen in the operator cabin.
Dozer models such as 450, 550, & 650 P-Tier come equipped with upgradable technology solutions that permit machine capabilities to grow with business or work site needs. Hence, operators can select the solution that best concurs with their needs, including the execution of EZ Grade with electro-hydraulic (EH) controls, Incline Control, SmartGrade-Ready with 2D-grade control, or 3D SmartGrade with Topcon or Leica. These highlights not only give the operator the capability to increase execution but can also be overhauled to a more progressed grade management solution.
The new SmartGrade-Ready with 2D-grade control option comes pre-assembled for SmartGrade with Leica and Topcon, empowering consistent improvement. This includes bringing in the new John Deere G5 display that has Incline Control and simple plug-and-play laser capabilities. This option is an incredible choice for rental fleets and customers who may later require SmartGrade.
The new generation of SmartGrade is now available as a factory-fitted option or through field kit solutions on all P tier 650, 550, and 450 John Deere dozers now in the market.
