Steven Pressure
Steven Pressure, 68, of Abilene, Texas, who was once an established Texas Asphalt Pavement Affiliation (TXAPA) member and a contributor to the state’s paving business, died on Sept. 19 after a five-year fight with most cancers.
After graduating from the College of Texas with a trade stage and an engineering minor, Mr. Pressure returned to Abilene in 1978 to paintings together with his father James, grandfather Vic and uncles Ernest Pressure and Herman Lloyd at J.H. Pressure & Sons. There he mastered talents that at last led him to play the lead position within the freeway building trade.
Following in his father’s footsteps, he started serving in management roles with the freeway department of the Affiliation of Common Contractors, taking over an AGC space chairman activity in 1984 — the youngest contractor on the time to ever cling that place.
