Hull Town Council has advanced a five-year plan to strengthen and improve most of the town’s bridges, statues, monuments and fountains.

The brand new plan is described as a significant shift within the council’s way to keeping town’s infrastructure through bringing in combination capital spending, inspections and upkeep right into a unmarried, coordinated plan.

Council chief Mike Ross has written to the federal government for investment from its lately introduced £1bn buildings fund.
