Bristol Town Jump, a three way partnership between Bristol Town Council and Ameresco, is making plans a £25m retrofit challenge for deliver housing as much as a minimal calories efficiency certificates (EPC) ranking of C.
Specializing in social housing in spaces of north Bristol, it’s the town’s first large-scale implementation of an area-based option to housing retrofit. Bristol Town Jump is focused on houses in Henbury, Brentry, Avonmouth, and Lawrence Weston. The roll-out will take till March 2028 to finish.
Works come with:

- window glazing and exterior door upgrades
- enhanced air flow techniques
- set up of sun PV and energy-efficient warmth pumps
- loft, roof and ground insulation enhancements
- energy-efficient lighting fixtures.
Councillor Barry Parsons, chair of Bristol Town Council’s houses and housing supply committee, mentioned: “This retrofit programme is ready making improvements to the lives of our citizens.
