The Grade II-listed Kings Corridor Recreational Centre in Hackney, which first opened as public baths in 1897, is getting a £68.7m makeover.
Morgan Sindall has been decided on by way of Hackney Council for the challenge during the Southern Building Framework (SCF).
The improvement contains refurbishment of the present massive pool, in addition to the development of a 2d massive pool and a smaller instructing pool. The workforce will even restore the present façade and keep the ancient front, keeping up glazed bricks and balustrades.
