Wienerberger UK & Eire has began manufacturing of concrete tiles at its Smeed Dean brick works web page in Sittingbourne, Kent.

The 7,800 sqm manufacturing facility is Wienerberger’s first concrete tile manufacturing unit within the south of England and has the capability to supply 94 million roof tiles a yr.

Production each Danum TLE huge layout concrete tiles and simple concrete tiles on two manufacturing strains, the manufacturing unit will supplement present tile factories in Yorkshire.

The Smeed Dean works in Sittingbourne has been in operation for the reason that 1840s making conventional London Inventory bricks. It used to be got via Wienerberger in 1994.
