A pre-planning utility has been submitted to Birmingham Town Council for the £48.5m redevelopment of the Invoice Space website on Soho Hill in Handsworth.
The two.5-acre website, which has been vacant for a number of years following a chain of fires, will see a mixed-use building together with 115 houses and apartments along an 80-bed care house.
The scheme is led by way of developer Pickstock Crew, with designs by way of Glancy Nichol Architects and making plans consultancy from RPS.
Pickstock building director Liam Davies stated the plans sought to take “a dynamic way to other housing typologies, providing reasonably priced housing, open marketplace sale and rent choices, along a supporting care provision be offering”.
