Hull Town Council has showed that restore and strengthening works on Drypool Bridge will start this month.

Following the receipt of a Marine Control Organisation (MMO) licence final week, major contractor Esh Development will start putting in place the web page compound at the former Rank Hovis web page in Hull from Monday 7th July, in preparation for the restore works on Drypool Bridge.

Drypool Bridge is one among seven bridges around the River Hull within the town. This is a Scherzer rolling bascule bridge, inbuilt 1961 to interchange the unique 1889 swing bridge.
