The Foundry Lane construction is being evolved for Halton Borough Council via developer Cityheart in partnership with Plus Dane Housing.
Segment 1 of the scheme contains 63 two- and three-bedroom ‘reasonably priced’ properties offering a mixture of shared possession and condominium choices. The broader masterplan for the scheme will see 300 new properties delivered in levels throughout 20 acres of land which was once previously occupied via Tarmac and haulier Eddie Stobart.
Cityheart was once appointed as Halton Borough Council’s construction spouse in 2022. The proposed scheme has since passed through a redesign and land remediation performed via earthmoving specialist PP O’Connor.
The proposed new properties are designed for optimum thermal potency and can incorporate renewable power options – specifically photovoltaic panels and air-source warmth pumps.
The undertaking staff contains undertaking supervisor and amount surveyor MM Control Products and services, architect Corstorphine & Wright, consulting engineer Curtins, M&E specialist Tace and making plans guide Zerum. Panorama design is via DEP.
James Litherland, senior construction supervisor for Cityheart mentioned: “We’ve been operating intently with Plus Dane at the Foundry Lane scheme in fresh months and are very happy to announce them as our companions to convey this construction ahead, developing much-needed, sustainable and reasonably priced properties for native other people.
This can be a main milestone for Cityheart as we transfer ahead into supply throughout 3 main redevelopment initiatives within the northwest together with Foundry Lane, Stopford Park in Stockport and Fettlers in Wigan the town centre.”
