During the LaSalle Boulevard Reimagined initiative, town of Chicago plans to transform a number of empty downtown administrative center constructions into mixed-used and home towers.
This initiative will convert just about 213,676 m2 (2.3 million sf) of vacant administrative center constructions within the heart of Chicago, a space referred to as The Loop, into apartments and retail.
The Chicago Division of Making plans and Building (DPD) is looking for to incentivize native, cultural, and eating points of interest in vacant storefronts, underutilized development lobbies, and on former banking flooring.
